Psychiatrist, Victor Frankl agrues that we can't avoid suffering but we can change how we cope with it, find meaning in it and move to a renewed sense of purpose. His book and life long practice is based on his experience within Nazi death camps and it teaches about spiritual survival. Frankl theorizes that our purpose is not based on the pursuit of pleasure, but on our search of purposeful meaning in life.- taking care of ourselves and looking after others.
