Take a weekend out and consider the following approach to finding your sense of personal purpose.
Find a quiet spot. Sit-up straight with feet flat on the ground or in a Yoga position (Butterfly or Lotus position). Close your eyes. Spend time meditating on personal purpose. Let your passing thoughts emerge about purposeful intentions for both self and others. Turn your thoughts to how you can love self and others with a 'mindset' and 'heartset' which includes elements of compassion, kindness, gratitude, forgiveness, and justice. Take a break and jot down your thoughts. Write your story
Do this two or three times during the week-end. Review your thoughts with a mentor, coach or someone you trust. Choose a statement that allows you to say out loud: "That's it!" .
